From the Application menu, select Symbol Values. The Open Symbol File dialog box appears.
Select a symbol file, and click Open. The Edit Symbol Values dialog box appears.
A list of all configured symbols will be displayed.
To edit a data source symbol value:
Select the Data Sources tab.
To change the symbol name, double-click on the Symbol field and enter a new name.
To change the data source, click the Edit Data Source button.
To change the substitution value, click the Edit Substitution Value button.
To edit a property:
Select the Properties tab.
To change the symbol name, double-click on the Symbol field and enter a new name.
To change the property value, double-click in the Property Value field and edit the value.
To edit a Parameter:
Select the Parameters tab.
To change the symbol name, double-click the Symbol field and enter a new name.
To change the Parameter Value, double-click the Parameter Value field and enter a new parameter name.
To save your changes, click the Save button, or to save your changes as a new symbols file, click the Save As button.
