The Duplicate object function is the same as Copy/Paste.
Select the object you want to copy.
Right-click and select Duplicate.
The duplicated object appears in the position defined by the positioning option set in the Edit User Preferences dialog box.
TIP: To duplicate a number of objects at once, select multiple objects and select Duplicate. How?
