The following types of help are available in Proficy Portal:
Electronic books (online help) – the combination of books makes up a web-based help system. This help system can be accessed from Proficy Portal's Help menu, or from Help buttons on dialog boxes and windows. The Getting Started Guide is an electronic book also available as a printed manual.
Properties help – if you have the Enterprise edition of Proficy Portal, help is available for all shapes by right-clicking on the shape (in Configuration mode) and choosing Properties. Click on any property and the description is provided below the properties list.
Important Product Information – release-specific product information including a description of the new features in the release, known issues, defects that have been fixed since the last product release, as well as system and connector requirements. You can access the IPI help file either during the Proficy Portal installation, or after the installation from the Start menu Programs group or from the Proficy Portal Electronic books (online help) table of contents.
