Cold Start Command (Execute Menu)

Select the menu command Execute > Startup Switch Position > Cold Start to set the simulated CPU to perform a cold restart when it is switched from STOP to RUN mode.

With a cold restart, the operating system calls the cold restart OB (OB102), the user program is restarted from the beginning, and data stored in non-retentive areas are deleted.

Note

In order to use this command, you must first have permitted manual restart under STEP 7.
