Legacy Features in Proficy HMI/SCADA CIMPLICITY version 8.0

Legacy features support equipment that is obsolete or functionality that has been superseded by far more effective and efficient functionality. Therefore, these features will not be available in the next major CIMPLICITY release after version 8.0.

CIMPLICITY 8.0 offers and supports the current CIMPLICITY Pager option. However, the version after CIMPLICITY 8.0 will offer a new Notification system that will provide increased flexibility and functionality. In the CIMPLICITY release after v8.0, GE Fanuc: Will provide a migration path for existing clients who wish to upgrade from the current Pager to the new system.
