The following rules describe the overall operation of a computer with Computer Cabling Redundancy:
When a loss of a network is
detected Ethernet traffic continues on the other network.
When the network is
repaired the computers will re-establish communication
automatically, within 45 seconds.
If both networks are lost
then CIMPLICITY software acts as if communication was lost to the
project. CIMPLICITY software will re-establish the connections to
the other computer when the network is repaired.
