If you are trying to connect to the Server by node name, it is possible that your Viewer and Server may not be able to resolve each other’s node names.

(On both the Server and Viewer)

1. Click Start on the Windows task bar.

2. Select
   (All) Programs>Proficy HMI SCADA - CIMPLICITY version>CIMPLICITY Options .

The CIMPLICITY Options dialog box opens.

3. Select the Hosts tab.

4. Identify the Host nodes and IP addresses.
