DefaultCounters.txt specifies how many log files will accumulate before the oldest is deleted. The default number is seven. This number can be changed, for example, made smaller to free up disk space.

To change the number of accumulated CIMPLICITY counter log files:

1. Select the CIMPLICITY directory.

2. Select the perserv folder.

3. Open the DefaultCounters.txt file in a text editor application such as Notepad.

4. Change the number 7 for the entry #MAXFILES 7 to whatever number you want.
