When a page is opened and Fast Runtime Display is enabled, CitectSCADA searches for both the CTF and the CTG files and uses whichever is newer. This can be unnecessary in some situations, for example, it will cause the Internet Display Client to copy both the CTG and CTF files for a page when only the CTF is required. The UseCTGIfNewer parameter alters this behavior so that the CTG is only searched for if the CTF cannot be found.
