Types of licensing

Soft licensing:

A unique PC identification number is requested during licensing.

The license cannot be stolen.
The license is computer specific.
Practical for notebooks.

Dongle licensing:

A hardware dongle is connected to the parallel or the USB interface of the PC with the installation.

Easy handling
License can be taken from one PC to another simply by moving the dongle.
No problems with harddisk failure

Network dongle:

A certain number of licenses is booked to a central dongle in the network. The dongle has to be connected to the parallel or the USB interface of a PC (no control system installation necessary).

One central dongle administers several licenses within one network simultaneously (concurrent use license).
If the maximum number of simultaneous licenses is exceeded, the demo mode is started.
