Functionality

For performance reasons two different stages of data storeage are distinguished when evacuating archive data to a SQL database. The short time data (according to the setting Keep archives in the dialog Save) are still saved to the local disc in ARX format. After the period stated here the contents of this file is written to the SQL database as a combined transaction and deleted on the local disc. If data from this archive are needed for trends or reports, the locally saved short time data are automatically combined with the zenon long time data of the SQL database to a continuous dataflow.
