Variables are created with the driver online
import. You will find the command in the context menu of the driver
in the driver list.
First a server has to be selected, from which the variables should
be browsed.
Then the connection to the server is established and the list of the existing datapoints (LDs, LNs, DATA objects, DATA attributes) is read.
When the reading process is finished, an online import dialog opens as described in the chapter "Process data model and variable definition" of the online help of the control system.
All IEC variables are addressed via their names. The net address of the according server has to be entered in the property "Net address" of the variable. (On the top of Addressing.)
