Connection file

Selected configuration file

Connection list

Displays the connection names with the corresponding hardware addresses. By selecting the connection name with the mouse the connection parameters are displayed.

Net address

Corresponds with the net address of the variable definition. ATTENTION: when communicating via a Gateway (e.g. TCP/IP on RS485), you have to use the Net address of the target station here.

Connection name

Freely definable name.

Remote IP address

IP address of PLC.

Remote port address

Port address in the PLC. Please refer to the documentation of your hardware (standard port is 502).

Ping

A ping is executed to the defined IP address. Hereby you easily can check if there is a connection between the PC and the device. If ther is no correct response to the ping, there is a problem in the network. In this case check the IP address and if the device really is online.

Create new connection

With empty connection list: Enter connection parameters. Press button "Save".

With existing connections: Press button "New". Enter connection parameters. Press button "Save".

Copy connection

Select the desired connection in the connection list with the mouse. Change net address and connection parameters. Press button "Save".

Display connection

Select the desired connection in the connection list with the mouse.

Edit connection

Select the desired connection in the connection list, press button "Edit". Make changes and close with "Save".

Delete connection

Select the desired connection in the connection list, press button "Delete".
