straton IP address: IP address or PC name of the target system (PC with straton Runtime).
Port Number Standard port opened by the straton Runtime for communication. Generally, this is the same port as the "RT Port" of the straton project.
Timeout (ms) Not used
If uncapitalized variable names are used, a flag has to be set. Rule of thumb: This flag should ALWAYS be set!
Use event Mode When using the driver in spontaneous operation, this flag has to be set. With old straton Runtimes (lower than version 6.20), the spontaneous operation mode is not possible. Then the flag has to be reset!
straton 2nd IP address: IP address or PC name of the redundant target system (PC with redundant straton Runtime).
Port Number Standard port opened by the redundant straton Runtime for communication. Generally, this is the same port as the "RT Port" of the straton project.
If the connection to the first IP address fails, the alternative IP address will be used after the net error waiting time has passed (20-30 sec., depending on the network). The alternative address will be kept until the driver is restarted (via driver functions or restart of the straton Runtime) or until the connection fails. Then, the first IP address will be used again.
