You will find more information on the copy and paste functionality in the chapter Editor / Pulldown menu / Edit.
Elements are always pasted centered in the
editing area. With several objects the position between the objects
stay the same. With the menu entry Paste at same position the opjects are
pasted in the same position as in the original.
If objects are moved and the key Ctrl is pressed on releasing them, the
objects are copied. See chapter: Move. If objects are moved with the right
mouse button, on releasing them it can be selected, whether the
object should be copied or moved.
