Several elements can be selected with the
Shift or Ctrl key pressed. This also is true
when selecting elements with the mouse.
In order to deselect a selected element in a
multi-selection, click it with the Ctrl key pressed down.
Change the sequence of selection:
When e.g. aligning elements, the element
selected first is used as a reference. In order to change the
sequence of selection, the element, which should be used as the
reference object, can be clicked with the SHIFT key pressed down.
