Create picture of type Variables status test

By using a variables status test picture, variables can be displayed and set in the Runtime.

The creation of the variable picture is done by the definition of a new picture of the picture type Variables Status Test.

(You will find more information on the pre-defined picture types in the chapter 'Pictures / Pre-defined picture types'.)

After the picture is opened an empty picture is displayed. The default control elements can be inserted with the entry Control elements in the pulldown menu.

Configurable control elements are:

Control element	Description
`Default`	Automatically insert default elements If not all the control elements are needed, they can be removed one by one lateron. The elements can be moved and individually arranged.
`Add variable`	Add a variable to the list in the Runtime
`Release variable`	Remove variable from the list in the Runtime
`Update actual value`	Update the current values of the variables
`Updating actual value ON`	Switch on automatic updating of current variable values
`Updating actual value OFF`	Switch off automatic updating of current variable values
`Edit set value`	Edit the set value for the selected variable
`Send values to hardware`	Send the set values of all variables to the hardware
`Values in dec`	The variable values in the list (actual value, set value) are displayed decimal.
`Values in hex`	The variable values in the list (actual value, set value) are displayed hexadecimal.
`Values in bin`	The variable values in the list (actual value, set value) are displayed binary.
`Values in oct`	The variable values in the list (actual value, set value) are displayed octal.

`Save`	Save settings as profile

A decimal value can be entered with a colon as well as with a point, the decimal point will automatically be changed to a point.

You can filter for status bits NORM and ABNORM.
