Demo mode

If the Editor is not licensed, it runs in demo mode. If the Runtime is not licensed, it runs in demo mode.

For the first 40 starts the Editor runs for 30 minutes with the hint, that it runs in demo mode. With the 41st start, the time is reduced to 10 minutes. A not licensed Runtime runs for 30 days.

Licensing (soft or dongle licensing) can be done at any time by entering a valid serial number and activation number. The licensing is effective after zenon has been restarted.

Lost activation:

If a soft licence is moved to another PC, e.g. because the original PC is defective, the Editor runs in demo mode and the Runtime in licensed mode for 30 days.
