These are included in the software as a standard. On creating a new variable they are immediately available. The properties of the pre-defined data types can be changed. The names of these data types always match with the names of the basic IEC data types, these and the IEC data types cannot be deleted or renamed.
The data types become visible in zenon, as soon as a driver is selected. Each driver opens a list of data types it supports. If an IEC data type does not exist in the list of data types, it is not supported by any driver in the project.
Changes in the properties of the data types effect all linked variables and also all linked structure data types!
