| You cannot place two TIWAY PC cards on the
same network cable. The TIWAY network is a single master system -
it does not allow more than one master on the same network. If you
start a second Citect computer when using two TIWAY cards on the
same cable, both the new Citect computer, and the first Citect will
fail. The correct method with more than one TIWAY card is to run a
second TIWAY network and put a second NIM in each of your PLCs.
The TIWAY network does support a master and slave configuration
that should allow for multi cards on the same network. Citect has
investigated supporting this configuration, however we have found
that this configuration is highly unstable. So we have decided not
support this configuration.
