Summary:
When I start my display client, I get the an error dialogue with the following message:

"No Protection key found or no licence available from the network"

When I click on ok, Citect shuts down.

 

Solution:
By default, Citect will use a full license for a display client. If you have a key with a display client license only, you will then need to set the following INI parameter in the Citect.ini file:

[Client]
Display=1

That should force citect to use the display client license only instead of searching for a full license. Refer to KB Q2331 for more information.
