Summary:

I have designed a supergenie using the ciText.TextBox activeX control.

But when I run my project, the ActiveX control does not seem to work, and I receive hardware alarms when I open my supergenie: 

- "Object has no interface"
- "invalid argument passed"

How can I work around this problem?

 

Solution:

This problem is currently being investigated by Citect.

An easy work around si to define a page rather than a supergenie.

Please refer to KB Q1724 for more information.

 

This problem is also occuring when the ActiveX is used on a genie. It will not display and work properly in runtime. There is no current work around in that case.
