4.2.31.3        Play Voice

Specifies if this tag will generate a Text-to-Speech message on the SCADA Node and Clients when it alarms. An Alarm Voice must be configured for the SCADA node. Alarms must be enabled. A sound card and speakers must be installed on the SCADA node and the Client.  The Text-to-Speech software must be installed manually from CD-ROM on the Client (i.e. it is not part of the Client Plug-in).  This Voice plays on the SCADA node and a Client connected to this SCADA node. See section 7.15 Text to Speech Alarm Annunciation for more information.

The top line (in Pink) will enable Text-to-Speech Alarm Annunciation for all enabled Alarms.

Alternatively, Text-to-Speech Alarm Annunciation can be enabled for individual Alarm types (e.g. High-High, High, Low, Low-Low, High-Deviation, Low-Deviation and Rate Of Change).
