4.3.24.5        Play Voice

Specifies if this tag will generate a Text-to-Speech message on the SCADA Node and Clients when it alarms. An Alarm Voice must be configured for the SCADA node. Alarms must be enabled. A sound card and speakers must be installed on the SCADA node and the Client.  The Text-to-Speech software must be installed manually from CD-ROM on the Client (i.e. it is not part of the Client Plug-in).  This Voice plays on the SCADA node and a Client connected to this SCADA node. See section 7.15 Text to Speech Alarm Annunciation for more information.

Multiple state alarm handling for discrete tags.

Each state of a tag can be assigned as an alarm with each state having a unique alarm priority, delay time, wav file, media file.  Each state can be assigned individually the ability to send email notification and text-to-speech alarm annunciation (although the same message is sent or read).
