Figure 7.13  Status Bar Alarms

V P C A - Verification Alarm (recipe), Primary/Backup SCADA node status/alarm, Tag Alarm, Communication Alarm and the Tagname  of the most recent Alarm.

V - is a Verification Error associated with Recipes. This will appear only if you are viewing a Recipe Display and there is a mismatch between a recipe Preset Value and the corresponding Tag's value. If you are not viewing a Recipe Display, this window is Blank (no V).

P - connected to Primary SCADA node and the status for a Redundant SCADA Node pair.  If you do not have a redundant SCADA node, this Window is Blank.  On the Backup SCADA node the letter "B" appears.  A black P is normal (both Primary and Backup SCADA nodes are okay.  A red P that is steady is Backup not synchronized.  A red flashing P is Backup Node off line.   Similar colors appear on the Backup SCADA node, with the letter B, and analogous meaning.

B - connected to backup SCADA node status for a Redundant SCADA Node pair.  If you do not have a redundant SCADA node, this Window is Blank.  On the Backup SCADA node the letter "B" appears normally.   A black B is normal (both Primary and Backup SCADA nodes are okay.  A red B that is steady is Backup not synchronized.  A red flashing B is Primary Node is off line.   Similar colors appear on the Backup SCADA node, with the letter B, and analogous meaning.

1, 2, 3 …. - Communications status. Red flashing red number (1 , 2 , 3 , 4 …)  is Communications failure, but WebAccess will retry.  Red steady number is a Disabled Comport or Device (i.e. disabled by a User or Operator).

A - Alarm.  This is an Alarm in a Tag.  Steady red A is all alarms acknowledged.  Flashing Red A is an unacknowledged Alarm.

TAG - The Tagname of the most recent active alarm appears next. A flashing red tagname is an unacknowledged Alarm.  A black Tagname is an active, acknowledged alarm.

You can hide the Status Bar using Display Groups (in ViewDAQ) or in Web Browser Clients using View Property or bwViewpg.asp with options.  Hiding the Status Bar would hide these Alarm Windows.
