User is prompted to log into Proficy Portal twice

If users are prompted to log into Proficy Portal twice (and the second time they are granted access), check that the server's computer name does not contain any special characters. Special characters include any characters other than a-z, 0-9, and hyphen. If the host computer name does contain special characters, change the name to valid characters.

WARNING: Renaming the host computer name can cause some applications to stop working. For example, if you run an SQL server on a machine and change its name, you may have to re-run the SQL setup from the installation CD.
