In iFIX, tag substitutions for data sources do not require that the data server is specified. In Proficy Portal, however, data source substitutions that do not specify the data server are interpreted as string data rather than as data sources.
To import tags that use data source substitutions you must ensure that the fully qualified name is specified for tag groups. To do this, in the iFIX Tag Group Editor, click the Get Full Name button for all tag groups that use partial names (and save).
