You can use datalinks and text boxes to write out values to your SCADA servers in much the same fashion you do with FIX or iFIX. The main difference is that Proficy Portal does not support Electronic Signatures for iFIX tags; therefore, if the tag is set to reject `unsigned' writes, the write will not occur.
