Events Tab    

Each event requires a name and an associated query tag. The time span of the event determines the values returned by the query tag.

The Events tab has several fields (as described in the following table), and two additional tabs:

The name of an event.

Each event can define up to three queries.

Save an Event
Group button

Allows you to create an event group by saving the configured events to a file.

Group button

Allows you to load an event group to a chart.

Add a New Event button

Allows you to add a new event by entering the name of the event in the Add Event dialog box.

Delete selected Event button

Allows you to remove the selected event from the Event List field.

Synchronize
with Event
check box

Indicates whether to synchronize the current event with another event in the chart.

By synchronizing a real time event to a master event you can determine how well the real time event is progressing.

Selected – current event can be synchronized. Synchronize with Event field is enabled.

Cleared – current event is not synchronized.

Synchronize
with Event
combo box

Specifies the event you want to synchronize the current event to.

Only master events appear in this list.

Master Event

Indicates whether to configure the currently selected event as a master event.

Master events are historical events that you configure as a reference. Only one query tag is used during synchronization.

Selected – current event becomes a master event.

Cleared – current event is not a master event.

Level 2

Indicates whether to create an event query with two query tags when synchronizing two events.

Selected – event uses two query tags.

Cleared – event uses one query tag.
