Hint Time Tab (Event Tab)    

Use the Hint Time tab to configure the start and end time for the Query Tag. The Event chart uses the dates and time specified to determine where to start looking for unique values. The values found appear in the Value field of Query Tag 1 on the Query Tags tab.

Effect or Values

Absolute

Specifies the beginning or end time for Query Tag 1 in the format defined by the regional settings of your computer.

Regional settings can be defined on the Default Regional Settings dialog box.

Start – select a start date and time from the calendar, or place your cursor before the value you want to change and use the Up or Down arrows on your keyboard.

Stop – select an end date and time from the calendar or place your cursor before the value you want to change and use the Up or Down arrows on your keyboard.

NOTE: The default value is 4 hours before the current date and time.

Relative

Specifies the relative start and stop dates for the Query Tag.

Start – select from the list box. The displayed start date/time below changes to reflect your selection.

Stop – select from the list box. The displayed stop date/time below changes to reflect your selection.

NOTE: Specific dates/times, such as Day Shift are defined in the Named Time Editor.

Range

Specifies a range for the Query Tag. The date/time is either absolute or relative, depending on your selection.

Range – select from the list box. The displayed Start and Stop date/time below changes to reflect your selection. For example, if you select Last Hour, the Start date/time changes to one hour before the current time (relative option). If you select Q1, the Start and Stop date/time values change to the first 3 months of the year (absolute option).

Time Zone

Allows you to select the time zone to be used for the event.
