If you have not already done so, insert a chart by selecting it from the Insert menu, or double-click an existing chart to access the chart's configuration panel.
Select the Chart tab.
If you want to show outlines on the bars, ensure the Show Outline check box is selected.
To change the color of the outline of the bars, click the Outline Color button and select a new color from the palette.
If you want the bars to appear 3-dimensional, select the Draw 3D check box.
To change the depth of the 3-dimensional effect, in the 3D Effect box, enter any number from 1 to 50. The larger the number, the greater the depth.
To change the transparency appearance of the bars, in the Transparency box, enter a number from 0.0 - 1.0. 0.0 is completely transparent; 1.0 is completely solid.
