Loading and Saving Pen Groups in Run-time

Loading Pen Groups

Pen groups can be loaded and saved in Time, Event, XY, and Correlation charts during run-time from either the chart's configuration panel, or from the context menu.

When a pen group is loaded during run-time, all existing pens are replaced by the pen group; however, the existing pens are not replaced permanently unless the display is saved. Also, when you load a pen group, the time criteria of the pen group is used; that is, the time settings on the data source override the component time settings of any existing pens or pen groups. If you are loading a pen group in an Event chart, the pen group's time criteria and time zone are overridden by the time criteria and time zone of the event.
