To edit the statement text directly
You can edit the text of an SQL statement directly or you can paste SQL code from other programs into the SQL Statement Builder. After you have edited the code of a statement, you cannot convert that statement into the SQL Statement Builder graphic format or edit it with the SQL Statement Builder tools. However, the statement is still valid SQL code and the SQL Statement Builder will treat it as such.
Select the Revert to generated SQL check box in the Edit SQL dialog box to restore the original statement. If you change your mind again, you can select Undo from the Edit menu to recover your edits.
