To edit the statement text directly

1. From the Edit menu, select the Edit SQL command. The current SQL statement appears in the Edit SQL Statement dialog box.

2. Select an insertion point and either edit the text or paste in some SQL code created with another program.

3. Click OK to close the box and save the edits. The UI components on other tabs are disabled.

TIP: You can also use Ctrl + V or right-click and paste the copied SQL text into the Edit SQL Statement dialog box.
