Residing on the Proficy Portal server are applications you can use to view analysis displays, configure and troubleshoot the server, and write SQL statements. You can access the client application from the Windows Start menu | Programs | Proficy Real-Time Information Portal 2.6. | Proficy Real-Time Information Portal. The Statement Builder and Administration applications can be accessed from the Proficy Portal client.
You can access the following applications:
Administration application – allows you to configure data sources and security, and view diagnostics. Sometime referred to as the Administration applet.
Statement Builder – allows you to create SQL statements. This application is only available if you purchased the Proficy Portal Enterprise edition. Sometimes referred to as the Statement Builder applet.
Client Application – allows you to view analysis displays. If you have access to the application's configuration environment, you can also create and save displays.
