The DF-1 Setup Utility Program is a program provided with the Allen-Bradley DF-1 communication enabler that you can use to check the basic configuration and operation of the communication path without starting CIMPLICITY software This test utility is normally installed in C:\Program Files\GE Fanuc\Proficy CIMPLICITY\EXE directory.
You can perform the following functions:

Set up PLC Properties |

Set up Serial Port Properties. |
|
|
Test Communications (Read/Write). |
For this program to function, CIMPLICITY software's Allen-Bradley DF-1 communication enabler must be successfully installed. To start the installation verification program, select the DF-1 Setup icon in the CIMPLICITY menu.
