When set to true (1), this parameter causes an alarm summary entry to maintain its state information when the alarm changes to an off state, leaving the value of the SumState field as the original alarm state.
When set to false (0), this parameter causes an alarm summary entry to lose its state information when the alarm changes to an off state, causing the SumState field to display the alarm state value of "OFF".
Setting this parameter to false also causes old alarm entries in the Process Analyst to display "OFF" as the state instead of the actual state the alarm was in, causing inaccurate display of the alarm history.
