In order to be able to use the users of the ActiveDirectory (in the following AD) in zenon, a domain based on a Windows server 2000 or 2003 is required. In order to be able to administer user in the ActiveDirectory, the server has to be a DNS server.
So a domain controller with DNS and ActiveDirectory has to be available to be able to use these user accounts as users of zenon on a PC in the domain.
Access to the users of the ActiveDirectory has to be activated in the properties of the project.
Basic knowledge about the ActiveDirectory and the Windows server technology is assumed.
