The Startup Tool allows to run several different zenon versions parallel on one PC.

Since version 5 the network communication is realized with two services (zenNetSrv.exe and zenSysSrv.exe). These services are version dependent and have to be registered for the according version.

After a project has ben converted, it no longer runs in previous versions.

In network projects the same zenon version has to be started on the server and the clients.

Already installed zenon versions are created automatically in the Startup Tool during installation.

attention Attention

The Startup Tool does not start when the service 'zenAdminSrv' is not running. If necessary this service can be started manually under windows control panel 'Administration/Services'.
