Engineering in the Editor

The alarm function during runtime is done with a picture of the type Alarm. This picture must be created in the editor first. (You will find more information on the pre-defined picture types in the chapter 'Pictures / Pre-defined picture types'.)

Furthermore, the variables/limit violations in the properties(Properties window) must be defined as alarms. So they can be entered into the alarm information list later during runtime. The Alarm information list is the online representation of the picture of the type Alarm. Here, all the alarms are listed and they can also be acknowledged, for example.
