The following functions for archive control and monitoring are available:

On calling the system function Start an archive the archive manager is opened and, after selection of the archive, the user defined function is generated.
On calling the system function Stop an archive the archive manager is opened and, after selection of the archive, the user defined function is generated.
If the Setting Runtime of the Archive 'At start and
end of archive' is selected, the function Start archive and Stop archive must not be
used.
On calling the system function List of running archives no transfer parameters are needed. In online operation the archives then currently running are represented in a window.
