Key sequences for the graphic editor:

Key combinations

Command

Space (keep pressed)

Mouse pointer changes to 'moving hand' (see chapter Move)

Shift (while selecting)

changes the order of the selected objects (see chapter: Change order of selection in chapter Selecting)

Shift (with scaling)

proportional scaling is carried out (see chapter Scaling)

Shift (with moving)

Objects can only be moved horizontally and vertically (see chapter Move)

Shift + arrow key

moves selected objects by 10 pixels

Ctrl + Shift (with polyline, polygon and pipe element)

corresponds to function 'add' resp. 'delete' a node in the selected element. With 'add' the mouse pointer changes to a plus (+), with 'delete' to a minus (-).

Ctrl + mouse click

with multi-selection deselects an already selected object

Ctrl (holding while moving)

copies the object instead of moving it

Shift or Ctrl

Selection of several objects (see chapter Selecting)

Alt (with scaling)

Scaling for the object is carried out around the center (see chapter Scaling)

Alt (with selecting)

In order to select an object which is overlapped by other objects:
- Mark object by clicking on it
- press and hold Alt
- click and move object

H

centers selected object in the working cut-out (see chapter Center)

S

closes the drawing of polylines and polygons

Esc

closes the drawing of polylines and polygons and deletes the last part drawn

Arrow key

moves a selected object With pressed SHIFT key each movement is 10 pixels.

+
(with several picture elements overlapping)

upgrades the selected element by one level

-
(with several picture elements overlapping)

degrades the selected element by one level

Strg + +
(with several picture elements overlapping)

moves the selected element to the foreground

Strg + -
(with several picture elements overlapping)

moves the selected element to the background

Ctrl + A

selects all elements of a picture

Ctrl + C

copies all selected elements

Ctrl + S

saves changes

Ctrl + V

inserts a copied element from the clipboard

Ctrl + Shift + V

inserts a copied element from the clipboard at its original position; original and copy lie congruently on top of each user

Del

delete selected element

Shift + Del

cut out the selected element

Tab

in order to select the elements of a picture starting with the first element created

Shift + Tab

in order to select the elements of a picture starting with the last element created

Ctrl + X

cut out selected elements

Ctrl + Z

undo changes (up to 10 steps)

Alt + Enter

call up a dialog for the selected element
