WEB Client - Versions

You have to care, that the different zenOn WEB Client versions have to correspond exactly with the used Runtime version. (Even the ServicePack). If the Runtime Server has version 6.01 SP2, the used WEB clients HAVE TO have version 6.01 SP2 too.

Exception: Runtime downward compatibility in certain versions: This is true from 5.21 SP3 up to 5.50 SP7 with the exception of version 5.50 SP0. This means, that a WEB client of a higher version can connect to a Runtime server with a lower version. It does not work the other way round! Example: A WEB client of version 5.50 SP4 can connect to a Runtime server of version 5.50 SP1, but not to a Runtime server of version 5.50 SP0 (this version is an exception). A connection to a Runtime server of version 5.50 SP6 (server higher than client) also will not work.

Always use the WEB client with the highest service pack number within a version. As the WEB client is downward compatible, you also can connect to a Runtime server with a lower service pack number.
