7.12  Alarm System Tags

System Tags provide diagnostics, facilitate display management and provide information to custom displays and scripts. For example, there are system tags for Active Alarms, First Alarm listed in Alarm Summary and last tag picked by operator.  See 4.9%DAQ system Tags for more information about %DAQ system Tags.

The System Tags associated with alarms are:

%AALMGLOBAL - Global Alarm Status (number)

%AALMGLOBAL(priority) - Alarm Status of specified alarm priority (number)

%AALMGLOBALN - Global Number of Alarms

%ASQLCODE - SQL Error in a Script (SQL is used to Query Databases)

%DBAD(tag) - Good /Bad Status of specified tag

%DCOMST(comport number) - Status of specified Communications Port.

%DKRLMODE - Communications Mode or Simulation Mode of Kernel

%TALMGLOBAL - Global Alarm Status (text)

%TALMGLOBAL(priority) - Alarm Status of specified alarm priority (text)

%TALMLAST - Tagname of most recent Alarm

%TALMLASTU - Tagname of most recent unacknowledged Alarm

%TCOMST(comport number) -  Status of specified Communications Port

%TKRLMODE - Communications Mode or Simulation Mode of Kernel
