To configure general preferences for the current display

  1. From the Edit menu, select Current Display Settings. The Edit Current Display Settings dialog box appears.

  2. Select a default background color for the current display:

    1. Click the Color button. The Choose Color dialog box appears.

    2. Select the background color you want to use.

    3. Click OK to apply the selection.

To use a background image:

  1. Select the Use Image check box.

  2. Select the image you want to use for your background. Currently, only images in the AllUsers/Images directory are available.

  3. Select how the image displays:

    • Centered

    • Stretched

    • Tiled

  1. Select the Show Toolbar check box to display the run-time toolbar along with the display. To hide the run-time toolbar, clear the check box. This setting overrides the Application-level run-time toolbar visible setting.

  2. Select the necessary print options. If AutoFit Width/Height is selected, the display's width/height is automatically scaled to fit on the printed page.

  3. Set the display size:

  4. NOTE: These settings override the Application-level display size settings.

    1. If you want the display's width to be set automatically according to the screen resolution, select the AutoFit Display Width check box (default).

If you want the display's width to be set to a certain number of pixels, clear the AutoFit Display Width check box and enter the number of pixels in the Display Width field.

  1. If you want the display's height to be set automatically according to the screen resolution, select the AutoFit Display Height check box (default).

If you want the display's height to be set to a certain number of pixels, clear the AutoFit Display Height check box and enter the number of pixels in the Display Height field.

  1. Click OK to save your changes.
