If you have not already done so, add a display. How?
From the Insert menu, select the object you want to insert.
Or
If you do not already see the Toolbox, from the Application menu, select Show Toolbox. On the Toolbox, select the icon for the object you want to insert and click it.
When you select the object, your mouse pointer becomes a hand or crosshair icon in front of the object's outline.
Drag the object to the approximate position in the display and click to release it.
If you have inserted a shape, the shape will appear, or in some cases, such as a line shape, you must `draw' the line on the display by clicking again. For other objects, such as charts or controls, a configuration dialog box will appear.
