If you have not already done so, insert a chart by selecting it from the Insert menu, or double-click an existing chart to access the chart's configuration panel.
Click the Data tab.
If necessary, add the pen(s) to the chart. There are two ways to add pens (choose one):
Click the pen you want to configure.
Select the Options Tab.
To use alarms, select the Enable Alarm check box.
On the Options tab, enter values for the High Alarm Limit and Low Alarm Limit. When the Y value is beyond the high or low limits, the line color will change.
To change the color that the line will change to when alarms are triggered, click the Alarm Line Color button and select a new color from the palette.
