The auto refresh setting will simply re-retrieve data from the server in the case of non-time based data sources. For time-based data sources, the auto refresh setting will retrieve time-specific data from the server (if the data source is set to allow component-level updates). If you have not already done so, insert a grid into your display. How?
Access the General tab on the Grid Configuration panel.
Select the Enable Auto Refresh check box and enter the number of seconds for the interval that the grid will be refreshed by.
NOTE: Real time data sources will update regardless of this auto refresh setting.
