Add a new datalink object, or right-click the Datalink object and select Edit Datalink. The Datalink Configuration dialog box appears.
Select the General tab.
Select Pop-up from the Data Entry Type list box.
If you want to confirm writes to the data source, select the Confirm Writes check box.
NOTE: If the data source does not support writebacks, the Data Entry Type list box will not be available.
