The Alarms data source is used to retrieve alarm and message data from the FIXALARMS database table. When you configure an Alarm Analysis object, use the Alarms Edit Source dialog box to set the columns to be displayed in the alarms grid. You can access the Alarms data source Edit Source dialog box in the following ways:
When an Alarm Analysis object is inserted from the Insert menu (in the configuration environment). In the Configuration panel, access the Data tab and set the data source via the Data Source Browser. Refer to The Data Source Browser for more information.
NOTE: The Alarms data source is located under the Alarms node of the Data Sources tree.
When an Alarm Analysis object is modified from the Configuration panel (Data tab). Double-click the data source to open the Edit Source dialog box.
On the Edit Source dialog box, select the columns you want displayed. Several columns appear in the Selected Columns list by default. You can click the Add All button to add all the columns to the Selected Columns list, or select a specific column and click the Add button. If you want to remove all columns from the Selected Columns list, click the Remove All button, or to remove a selected column from the Selected Columns list, select the column and click the Remove button.
The columns to be displayed appear in the Selected Columns list.
Click OK.
